We believe in fair and transparent pricing. Our refund policy is designed to ensure you only pay for successful ride matches.
Overview
RideSplit Bansko charges a small fee of €2.90 to unlock contact details and flight information when you find a potential ride match. This fee helps us maintain the platform and ensure quality service.
Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund of the €2.90 matching fee if:
- The matched ride sharing didn't materialize (you didn't end up sharing the taxi)
- The other traveler cancelled their trip
- Your flight or travel plans changed and you informed us within a reasonable timeframe
- Technical issues prevented you from connecting with your match
How to Request a Refund
Requesting a refund is simple:
- 1. Send an email to refunds@ridesplit.me
- 2. Include your order reference number
- 3. Briefly explain why the ride share didn't work out
We process refund requests within 1-2 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method through our payment processor, Paddle.
Our Trust-Based Approach
We operate on a trust-based system. If you tell us the ride share didn't work out, we believe you and process your refund - no questions asked. This policy reflects our commitment to fairness and our trust in our community of travelers.
